Keep recovery verifiable first

Keep both devices available during your own checks when possible. A website guide cannot establish a successful restore.

Restore and inspect on the new device

  1. Confirm the intended Apple Account and iCloud access.
  2. Check a successful recent Coldbore recovery point.
  3. Keep the appropriate recovery information privately available.
  4. Restore on the new device and inspect several records and attachments.
  5. Only then decide what to erase or remove from the old device.

Open identity, files, and recent activity

A successful restore should include the expected item identity, documents, photos, and recent activity.

Resolve missing recovery before relying on it

An export or App Store purchase receipt is not the recovery copy. Resolve key or backup access problems before relying on the new device.

Keep the connected record.

Coldbore keeps firearm identity, photos, documents, maintenance, and range sessions together on your iPhone or iPad.

Unlimited records, ordinary reports, exports, iCloud Backup, and app lock stay free. Collection Check, Collection Pack, Renewals, and Costs and history need optional membership.

Get Coldbore free

iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 and later. No Coldbore account.
