Save an eligible firearm first

An empty collection cannot create a valid live session. Coldbore records facts rather than providing range or shooting instruction.

Create the factual session draft

  1. Add the firearm to Collection if it is not already there.
  2. Open Range and review the selected firearm.
  3. Choose Start session.
  4. Record the date, venue, and relevant ammunition details.
  5. Use Add rounds to build the factual session entry.

Read the selected firearm and autosave state

The draft should name the intended firearm and show its local autosave progress. Posting is a separate action.

Resolve an unavailable firearm selection

If you cannot select an eligible firearm, return to Collection and review its record. Do not create a placeholder session for the wrong item.

Keep the connected record.

Coldbore keeps firearm identity, photos, documents, maintenance, and range sessions together on your iPhone or iPad.

Unlimited records, ordinary reports, exports, iCloud Backup, and app lock stay free. Collection Check, Collection Pack, Renewals, and Costs and history need optional membership.
