What offline access gives you

The local collection, linked material, and search can be used without a Coldbore account. Information must already be saved on this device. Offline access cannot fetch a backup that has not been restored.

What recovery adds

Optional iCloud Backup stores a recovery copy in the owner’s private iCloud. Restoring requires the relevant account, available point, and key access. A local record’s presence is not proof that a recovery copy exists.

Choose backup deliberately

Declining backup is a valid choice. Understand what happens if the device becomes unavailable. If recovery matters to you, verify the current point and your recovery process.
