Four basics are enough

Use the item’s known identity. Leave an uncertain serial number, cost, or date out until you can verify it.

Save the first personal dossier

  1. Open Coldbore. An empty collection offers Add your first firearm.
  2. Enter the make, model, caliber, and type. Use the applicable catalog entry when it matches.
  3. Open More details only if you want to add optional information now.
  4. Save, then open the personal dossier. Choose Add a photo or Link a document as your next useful step.

Find the saved item in Collection

The saved item should appear in Collection and open its own dossier. A missing optional value does not prevent a useful record.

Keep an uncertain catalog match provisional

If a catalog match is uncertain, keep the basic information you can confirm. A catalog entry does not prove the identity of your specific item.

Keep the connected record.

Coldbore keeps firearm identity, photos, documents, maintenance, and range sessions together on your iPhone or iPad.

Unlimited records, ordinary reports, exports, iCloud Backup, and app lock stay free. Collection Check, Collection Pack, Renewals, and Costs and history need optional membership.
