Define local and iCloud scope

Decide whether you intend to erase only the device or also manage separate iCloud recovery points. They are distinct actions.

Review and confirm the local erase

  1. Inspect the current local collection and available recovery point.
  2. Open the erase controls in Settings.
  3. Read the review and confirmation carefully.
  4. Confirm only when the scope matches your decision.
  5. Check the resulting local state and backup status. Manage iCloud copies separately if intended.

Check local records and backup status

The device should have the intended local state. Shared exports remain outside the app’s control.

Manage stored backups and billing separately

Do not confuse turning backup off with deleting its stored copies. Membership renewal also remains an Apple Subscriptions choice.

Keep the connected record.

Coldbore keeps firearm identity, photos, documents, maintenance, and range sessions together on your iPhone or iPad.

Unlimited records, ordinary reports, exports, iCloud Backup, and app lock stay free. Collection Check, Collection Pack, Renewals, and Costs and history need optional membership.
