Start from completed work

Use your completed work record or the service provider’s invoice. Follow applicable manufacturer or professional guidance for the work itself.

Save a dated maintenance entry

  1. Open the firearm and choose Record maintenance.
  2. Enter the completed date and a factual description.
  3. Add known cost information and a relevant source when available.
  4. Save the entry.
  5. Check the connected firearm history or Logbook.

Find the completed entry in history

The entry should describe completed work rather than imply that the app assessed the firearm’s condition.

Preserve uncertainty about the work

If the date or work is uncertain, say so in the notes. Recording an inspection does not establish that an item is safe to use.

Keep the connected record.

Coldbore keeps firearm identity, photos, documents, maintenance, and range sessions together on your iPhone or iPad.

Unlimited records, ordinary reports, exports, iCloud Backup, and app lock stay free. Collection Check, Collection Pack, Renewals, and Costs and history need optional membership.
