Set one firearm and cutoff

Choose one firearm and a cutoff date. Do not combine counts from similar firearms.

Add the baseline and later sessions once

  1. Record the earlier baseline and its source.
  2. List posted sessions after that baseline’s cutoff.
  3. Add each session once.
  4. Compare the result with the firearm’s recorded total.
  5. Investigate a difference before entering a correction.

Work through a 550-round example

A baseline of 500 rounds plus sessions of 30 and 20 produces 550 recorded rounds. The baseline’s uncertainty carries into the total.

Check plans, drafts, and duplicated entries

An autosaved draft or reused plan is not another completed session. Check dates and item links before treating a difference as missing activity.

Keep the connected record.
