Define the baseline cutoff

The cutoff defines where the baseline stops and posted sessions begin. A count without that boundary can duplicate activity.

Earlier-count source fields

  • Connected firearm
  • Earlier recorded rounds
  • Cutoff date
  • Included source period
  • Source reference
  • Estimate or counted figure
  • Later sessions excluded
  • Notes

An invented estimated baseline

Northmoor, 500, 2026-07-01, Before app use, Owner log example, Estimate, Yes, Fictional baseline.

Count later sessions separately

Check the firearm’s total against the baseline and each later session once. Preserve uncertainty rather than treating an estimate as exact.

Keep the connected record.

Coldbore keeps firearm identity, photos, documents, maintenance, and range sessions together on your iPhone or iPad.

Unlimited records, ordinary reports, exports, iCloud Backup, and app lock stay free. Collection Check, Collection Pack, Renewals, and Costs and history need optional membership.
