Check the point rather than the label

A setting being enabled, an operation being in progress, and a successful recovery point are different states. Compare the recovery point’s time with the changes you need protected.

A new installation needs recovery

A Coldbore account is not required. Your collection still needs to exist on the device. Use the appropriate iCloud restore and verify records and attachments before relying on a new installation.

Keep device scope clear

The app’s backup state can be device specific. Turning it off on one device does not delete its stored iCloud copies or prove that another device stopped backing up. Review the actual screen and recovery points.
